Marra Lab Renovation
Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) – Rooms 419/420/421
Construction on the Marra Lab is anticipated to begin in mid-August 2024, and is anticipated to be completed by the end of December 2024.
Researchers in the Marra Lab study how the dysregulation of genomes and epigenomes promotes diseases, particularly cancer. This renovation will upgrade the old furnishings, electrical and mechanical systems, and flooring to facilitate the research being conducted in the space.
What to expect during construction
- Noise from construction activities is to be expected for occupants in the Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) Building.
- Vehicle noises from delivery of materials and renovation impact sounds will occur throughout the project.
- A laydown area will be set up inside the building near the construction site, location TBD.
- There will be no access to NCE rooms 419/420/421 during construction.
