Upgrading accessibility at Allard Hall with new sit-stand desks 

Facilities recently tackled a complex project to add sit-stand desks to five classrooms at Allard Hall. The original tables were built-in millwork with metal legs embedded in concrete, requiring the team to use their creativity and skill to create desks to match.

Unsung Hero Award: Congratulations to Denise Pearce

Subhead Electrician promotions in Building Operations

Ben Scott and Ryan Jeffs have been promoted to Subhead Electricians in the electrical department of Building Operations in Facilities. Ryan will be the new subhead of Electrical Maintenance and Ben will be the new subhead of Electrical Projects.

Brimacombe Building External Maintenance project begins

Construction on the Brimacombe Building External Maintenance project is anticipated to take place from October to mid-November 2025. The project will clean, prepare and paint external metal structural elements.
