As spring rolls around, the Zero Waste Market is excited to announce that during April and May, items at the market will be 50% off, with some items free. Stop by to check out the furniture, stationary, lamps, and unique vintage items!
UBC Facilities’ Furniture Reuse Program rehomes used items to divert as much waste as possible from landfills. The program accepts donations of gently used, surplus furniture from UBC Faculties and departments and resells it through the Zero Waste Market to the UBC community and public. The funds generated are used to recover operational costs.
The Zero Waste Market is open every Wednesday from 12–2 pm in Ponderosa Annex E, Rooms 127 and 121.
