Alan Ehrenholz joins Facilities’ Municipal Services as Municipal Engineer

Alan will help enhance our technical expertise in civil engineering and asset stewardship. Alan’s passion and contribution towards community-oriented initiatives will help strengthen our equity, diversity and inclusion work while balancing the operational and maintenance needs for a resilient campus through asset stewardship and design.

Alan joins us from CBCL Limited where he spent the last four years in a Municipal Engineer position on the Halifax team supporting site development, linear infrastructure and sustainable cities. He is no stranger to UBC and its buildings and spaces. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in civil and environmental engineering from UBC and is a Professional Engineer. While at UBC, Alan was president of the Engineering Undergraduate Society and the Alma Mater Society.

Outside of work, Alan is a passionate cyclist and curler. He is looking forward to returning to the west coast and reconnecting with the city where he was raised.

Alan will be joining UBC on September 25 and will be located in the University Services Building.
