Construction: Until August 2024
Construction is anticipated to begin at the start of May on the Neville Scarfe Building Telehealth and Data Analysis Renovation. Rooms 273, 273E and 273F will be reconfigured to provide a suitable space for research. The research aims to interrupt the intergenerational transmission of mental health issues and illnesses by identifying at-risk families and increasing treatment access.
The construction will include creating three rooms, replacement of flooring, relocation of the current doorway, and new doors and clerestory windows will be installed at the new partition wall.
What to expect during construction
- Loud construction noise during the demolition phase for the first week of construction
- Construction noise from framing, millwork, and flooring during the subsequent phases of construction
- There will be no access to Room 273 during construction
