Nikii Hoglund | Director, Asset Replacement & Improvement
Nikii leads the Technical Review Team to ensure input during the design phases of major projects and technical guidelines are adhered to, and the Construction Office – a team of Project Coordinators and in-house trades to deliver small but complex construction projects (generally under $75,000) on the UBC Vancouver campus.
Denise Pearce | Director, Building Operations
Denise’s team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all core campus buildings of the UBC Vancouver campus to ensure that spaces perform properly to enable excellence in research, teaching and learning.
Denise Brown | Director, Capital Planning & Development
Denise oversees the capital planning and management of capital expenditures of major building development projects across all UBC campuses and sites.
Sean Lynch | Director, Custodial Services
Sean leads UBC’s Custodial Services’ business operations and ensures campus-wide cleaning standards are met or exceeded, and works with his teams to drive innovation such as improved equipment ergonomics.
Kishani Gibbons | Director, Customer Services & Informatics
Kishani oversees facilities customer outreach, both through our people like our team of Facilities Managers and customer Service Centre, and through our systems such as Planon and Workday.
Siu Tse | Director, Energy & Water Services
Manages and operates Vancouver campus’ utility infrastructure including: high-voltage electricity, district energy (steam and hot water), natural gas and water systems
Jenniffer Sheel | Director, Municipal Services
Jenniffer and her team are responsible for the health and well-being of UBC’s streets, fleet and public realm. Her team includes the Streets and Operations Support Group, Waste Management, Fleet and Garage, Soft Landscape, and Stores. Municipal Services also provides moving services, event support, and extreme weather response.
Jay Hiscox | Director, Project Services
Jay and his team are responsible for providing project management services for renovations, renewals and modernization of buildings and campus infrastructure ranging in size from $50,000 to $100 million dollars on the UBC campuses.
Natalie Walliser | Director, Facilities Planning
This team provide comprehensive planning services that support and accommodate academic and research growth as well as administrative services by translating the physical space needs and functional requirements of the people in that space into reality.
