Jordan Buckshaw is the successful candidate for the Project Manager role in Project Services team within Infrastructure Development. Jordan’s first day will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
Jordan joins UBC Project Services with over 20 years in construction consulting and construction management, including experience supporting heavy civil and underground utilities. Prior to joining UBC, Jordan was part of BC Hydro where he managed Major Capital Infrastructure and Distribution projects in the Bridge River Generation and Lower Mainland Generation and Distribution regions, with varied project scopes including slope stability improvement for water tunnel intake gates, hydro generation penstock refurbishment, building erection, and underground utility installation.
Jordan is a Professional Engineer and holds a bachelors in Applied Science Civil Engineering from UBC and a diploma in Building Engineering Technology from BCIT. Jordan’s diverse construction and training experience, strategic oversight and creative problem solving will be an asset to the Project Services team.
