Steve Carey promoted to Facilities Manager in Customer Services and Informatics

Steve Carey is the successful candidate for the Blue Zone Facilities Manager position within Customer Services and Informatics, Facilities, effective March 28, 2022. 

Steve brings to the Facilities Manager team experience in the aviation industry, as well as strong customer services experience from 14 years of creating good working relationships with UBC clients and staff. Steve joined the Construction Office in 2018 as a Project Coordinator, where he was responsible for service contracts, and moved into project work in 2019. He also has experience in commercial and residential construction, and is a red seal ticketed machinist with broad knowledge of mechanical systems.

His willingness to provide excellent customer service, eagerness for new challenges, and desire to support a healthy and safe work environment will make him a great addition to the Customer Services team.
