Municipal Services’ Stores team is working to more efficiently provide materials to customers. As part of this effort, they are rolling out Smart Lockers this month.
Those of you who order materials through Planon will be able to bypass the Stores counter lineup. You’ll receive notification from the Smart Locker with a QR code or passcode, and you’ll be able to pick up your materials directly from the locker.
Paul Harris (Stores Manager) will be reaching out to supervisors to schedule time at crew talks to answer questions.
Timeline
- Late January – lockers will be installed and configured
- Mid February – lockers will be tested with the projects electricians and any issues will be worked out
- Late February – lockers will go-live for the rest of Facilities
