Level 3 Accessibility Upgrades – Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health

Estimated construction dates: June 2 – August 15, 2025 (dates will be confirmed once contract has been awarded to the general contractor and their construction schedule is provided for internal distribution)

Construction on the Level 3 Accessibility Upgrades at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health is anticipated to begin on June 2.

This project involves accessibility upgrades of a select door (3401:1) at the atrium on Level 3 to provide an accessible path of travel to the L3 lab, meeting rooms, and the administration office.

What to expect during construction

  • Expect noise from renovation work at door 3410:1, with minor disruptions in the adjacent corridor (3410) and the administration office (3402).
  • Access to the administration office (3402) and lab (3450) will likely be temporarily rerouted to secondary access doors. There will also be minimal impact on access for meeting rooms 3402A, 3402B, and 3402C.
  • You may also notice noise associated with wall coring in the Telecommunication Riser Room (3400C), as well as light noise disruptions during cable installation along the conduit pathway.
  • An electrical shutdown will be required on select dates for this work. The specific date and time will be confirmed in a follow-up notice.
