Starting June 6, Sean Lynch will be Acting Director, Custodial Service in Facilities. Sean joined UBC in 2011 in Student Housing & Community Services and joined Custodial Services as Operations Manager in 2017.
Sean worked in both evening and day shift roles within Custodial Services and has been the co-chair for custodial Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOHSC) in the past 2-years, and sits on the Zero Waste and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Sean moved to Canada in 2010 from Cork Ireland and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University College Cork. He holds an Accredited Auditing Professional (AAP) and Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS), and will be starting his Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Aston University next month. He has a passion for innovation and continuous learning, and enjoys project management and working in a fast-paced environment.
