Ildar Altynbaev joins Facilities’ Construction Office as a Project Manager 1 as of June 3, 2024. Ildar’s role will enhance our collective ability to deliver projects to the campus community, focusing on projects that primarily require the oversight of a contractor to carry out the work.
Ildar is a seasoned construction manager with 14 years of experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing contracting. His career to date has taken him across three provinces: Ontario, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. He relocated to Vancouver two years ago to fulfill his dream of living on the Pacific Coast.
Ildar holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Energy Systems, with a minor in Business Management from Ontario Tech University. In his free time, he enjoys climbing mountains or relaxing along the coastline, soaking up the sun on local beaches.
