Scarfe Complex Electrical Renovation
Neville Scarfe Office Block (SCRF)
Construction on the Scarfe Complex Electrical Renovation is anticipated to begin in May 2025 and to be completed in August 2025.
The electrical distribution system for the Neville Scarfe Complex is reaching the end of its lifespan and lacks the capacity to meet occupants’ future electrical needs. This renovation will remove aging electrical equipment and upgrade the system to a reliable, uniform standard that meets current safety and compliance regulations. Additionally, it will expand electrical capacity for future building expansion and use changes.
Here’s what to expect
- The Neville Scarfe Office Block will be shut down for the duration of the project. Office users will be relocated to alternative work spaces during this time.
- Some noise from construction activities is to be expected for users of the Neville Scarfe Building.
- A laydown area will be set up near the construction site, location TBD.
- Temporary road closures may occur during equipment delivery, location TBD.
