Ant season is here: Help keep pests away
Ants are one of the most common structural pests, capable of quickly turning from a minor nuisance into a persistent problem. Understanding what attracts ants into your workspace is crucial for effectively managing and preventing infestations. If you notice any ants at your work space or building, submit a pest control service request in Planon!
Hennings Building – Classrooms 301, 302, and 304 Renovation begins in late April
Construction is anticipated to begin on April 28 for the Classrooms 301, 302, and 304 Renovation in the Hennings Building. We will renovate three classrooms, including upgraded flooring, a drop ceiling, lighting, classroom equipment, and the AV system.
Henry Angus Building Classroom 254 Renovation begins in late April
Construction is anticipated to begin on April 28 for the Classroom 254 Renovation in the Henry Angus Building. We will upgrade the existing AV and mechanical systems and furniture to improve efficiency and sightlines and reduce noise disruptions during class.
Coal and Mineral Processing Laboratory Renewal begins in May
Construction is anticipated to begin on May 5 for the Coal and Mineral Processing Laboratory Renewal (Rooms 200, 204, 206, 208, 210, and 216) to upgrade the lightning, flooring, and walls.
Energizing the future: SHED project wins 2025 SAB Award
The Smart Hydrogen Energy District (SHED) – Hydrogen Generation and Fueling Station won a prestigious 2025 SAB Green Building Award for its excellence in energy innovation and environmental impact. This project is a unique partnership between industry and government to create an innovative living laboratory at a city-block scale, to test and study smart energy solutions with real-world applications.
