Facilities wins ASHRAE BC Technology Award

Facilities recently won the ASHRAE British Columbia Technology Award (2025-26) in the Educational Facilities, Existing category.
Led by Energy & Water Services, the Building Management (BMS) team completed a project at the Asian Centre, demonstrating how engineering innovation can enhance existing building performance while supporting climate resilience.
This retrofit project upgraded the legacy variable air volume controllers while minimizing physical disruption, reducing construction waste, and preserving architectural integrity.
