Jonathan Weinberg is the successful candidate for the Project Coordinator position in the Construction Office, Asset Replacement & Improvement unit within Infrastructure Development. Jonathan will start his new role on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Jonathan joined UBC in September 2019 working as a project carpenter in Building Operations. He participated in continuing education by volunteering for the Expression of Interest Program (EOI) program back in 2020, and since then has supported the crew as a backup head/subhead when needed. Prior to joining UBC, Jonathan was employed as a journeyman carpenter in both the construction and film industries in Toronto. Jonathan’s positive attitude and his combination of education and work experience will make him a great addition to the Construction Office Team.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Environmental and Community Design from Dalhousie University and is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor through the Canadian Green Building Council.
