We are pleased to welcome Denise Brown as the Director, Capital Planning in Facilities’ Infrastructure Development effective May 15, reporting to Jennifer Sanguinetti, Managing Director.
Working closely with Jennifer, Denise will oversee the development and management of capital plans and the planning, development and oversight of capital projects at UBC Vancouver, UBC Okanagan, and all other UBC owned and leased properties.
Denise comes to UBC with over 15 years of experience as an owner’s representative in construction capital and operations projects and a passion for creating sustainable and innovative spaces that enhance the quality of life and learning for students and faculty. She has worked for TD Bank, Cadillac Fairview and most recently the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) as Director, Capital Projects, where she brings her knowledge in assessing opportunities for improvements to strategic project planning and delivery.
Denise holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, an MBA and certifications in Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Advanced Project Management, LEED AP and Evidence-based Design.
