Andy Gomes has been promoted to Operations Centre Manager. Andy will officially assume his new role on March 1, 2024. Andy’s extensive background and experience within the Mechanical Operations department makes him a valuable asset to the team, and we are confident Andy will excel in his expanded responsibilities.
Andy’s commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, demonstrated through his completion of Project Management and Facilities Management courses, underscores his dedication to excellence in this field. Moreover, his active participation as a Healthy Harvest volunteer at the UBC Botanical Gardens and contributions to the AMS Food Bank highlight his dedication to community and social responsibility.
Beyond the professional realm, Andy enjoys playing golf and gardening in the warmer months and skiing on Cypress or Whistler during the winter. We extend our best wishes to Andy for continued success and fulfillment in his new role as Operations Centre Manager.
