Variable Frequency Drives to be replaced in the Brimacombe Building in January

Maintenance will be taking place in the Brimacombe Building from January–April 2025. We will be replacing and installing critical variable frequency drives (VFDs) on the penthouse level above the fourth floor that have reached the end of their operational life.

The latest Facility Condition Index is available

Facilities has updated the bubble diagrams that show the condition of UBC Vancouver Point Grey owned buildings as assessed by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education & Future Skills in 2023. These diagrams are augmented by renovations completed to date after that audit.
