James Woo is the successful candidate for the Project Manager I role within Project Services in Infrastructure Development, Facilities, effective March 2, 2022.
James has been an Associate Project Manager with Project Services since March 2020, where he has managed a variety of small to medium-sized projects including interior renovation, envelope, roofing, specialty equipment, lighting upgrades and flood repairs. During this time, James has continually built his expertise on UBC’s high standards and technical guidelines while building trusting relationships with UBC clients and stakeholders, and has grown as a team player with his engaging and positive attitude. Prior to joining Project Services at UBC, James was part of the team at R.F. Binnie & Associates, where was working mainly with BCIT in managing their capital projects.
James has a Civil Engineering background from UBC and brings to the team technical skills along with experience in delivering projects in a post-secondary environment.
