Pauline Li stepping into a new role in UBC Okanagan’s Infrastructure Development as Building Records Manager

Pauline Li is taking up a new role in UBC Okanagan’s Infrastructure Development team as Building Records Manager, effective September 6.

In her new role, Pauline will be responsible for records management, facility planning, as well as management of document and drawing repositories to ensure accurate records of all are maintained and consistently represented across multiple systems and depositories

Pauline started at UBC Vancouver in 2012 as a Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Technician and has been Infrastructure Development’s resident Autocad expert in UBC Vancouver. Her work on UBC’s building keyplans, campus maps, and space inventory has been instrumental to the growth of the Facilities Information & Inventory Systems (FIIS) team within Infrastructure Development over the last decade.

Pauline also has a background in architectural drafting. In addition to a Certificate in Architectural Drafting from Vancouver Community College, she worked as Architectural Technician for two years, where she was involved in Tenant Improvement projects for large restaurant chains and single-family home renovation.

In her spare time, Pauline enjoys car camping and going on road trips. She also likes to crochet, knit and sew and has created a line of evening gowns as part of a graduating fashion show.
