Asset Replacement & Improvements joining Infrastructure Development

The Asset Replacement & Improvement (AR&I) division, including the Transition Team and Construction Office, has started the process of joining with Infrastructure Development to form a new, unified, project delivery team for the Facilities Group.

BC Ministry of Advanced Education has contracted VFA Canada to audit 136 buildings on the UBC Point Grey campus starting June 21 to the end of January 2022. The last audit was undertaken in 2018.

Consolidating Capital Expertise in the VPFO

Basketball Court Relocation

A development permit application has been received for an outdoor basketball court in the parking lot at Thunderbird Boulevard and Health Sciences Mall. This basketball court is intended as a replacement for the existing court on the future site of the Hydrogen Fueling Station (DP21002). A virtual public open house will be held on June 1, 2021 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm, and open for commenting until June 8.
