Construction will begin in June 2024 on the Microwave Generator Addition at the Coal & Mineral Processing Laboratory. The microwave generator will be used by the laboratory’s research group with the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering.

Exciting new exhibit in progress for the Pacific Museum of the Earth
Construction has begun on the installation of an interpretive exhibit for the Pacific Museum of the Earth at the Earth Science Building entrance. The exhibit will showcase the wonders of planet Earth and inspire visitors with two magnificent dinosaur skeleton replicas (Daspletosaurus and a Dromaeosaurus), immersing landscapes and treasures.

Henry Angus second floor washrooms under renovation
Construction will begin in May to convert the gendered washrooms on the second floor of the Henry Angus Building to an all-gender washroom. Washrooms on the first floor will be open.
Museum of Anthropology to reopen on June 13 at 5:00 pm
The MOA at UBC will reopen its doors to the public on June 13, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
