Caroline brings a wealth of experience to this role and will be responsible for liaising with the wider University community and fostering working relationships with Senior Executives across the University. Caroline will be the primary contact person for John Metras, AVP Facilities (Incoming Interim Vice-President, Operations).

Energy & Water Services’ assets and preventative maintenance plans go live in Planon

The Enterprise Maintenance Management System (EMMS) project team within Facilities is pleased to share that Planon Release 4.1, transitioning Energy & Water Services’ (EWS) assets and preventative maintenance plans from BuiltSpaace to Planon is now live. This marks a significant and exciting milestone for the EMMS project and the EWS team.

University Boulevard closure extended to May 15

The closure of the University Boulevard (UBlvd) bus loop has been extended from May 1, 2022, to May 15, 2022 (exact date to be determined). The bus loop is closed due to three projects under construction simultaneously — School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) Building, Gateway Health Building, and a utility steam tunnel repair.

Metro Vancouver’s Watering Restrictions come into effect on May 1, 2022

Stage one of Metro Vancouver’s Lawn Watering Regulations will be in effect from May 1, 2022 to October 15, 2022, as outlined in Metro Vancouver’s Drinking Water Conservation Plan. This year, both residential and non-residential watering is only allowed once a week, instead of previous years’ allowance of twice a week.
