Project Summary
The MacInnes Field Parkade will be a single-level underground parking facility located beneath the new MacInnes Field in the University Boulevard precinct. This new parkade, which will include 216 short-term parking spaces, will address visitor parking demand for destinations such as the Aquatic Centre, Alumni Centre, AMS Nest, Bookstore and commercial sites along University Boulevard. The parkade has been sized to address visitor needs but not to create an oversupply of parking in the precinct that would affect UBC’s successful Transportation Plan direction to shift trips to transit, cycling, and walking.
